The commitment and passion United Way donors and volunteers show in the Mooresville-Lake Norman area is invaluable.

Continuing an annual tradition, United Way celebrated its top supporters in Mooresville-Lake Norman on May 14 with an appreciation breakfast and awards ceremony, presented by Polymershapes, I-77 Mobility Partners and Mooresville Ford at On The Nines Neighborhood Bistro in Mooresville.

Allison Rhodes, United Way’s Mooresville-Lake Norman community director, thanked companies, sponsors, campaign chairs, board members and community impact volunteers for their dedication, leadership and support that make it possible for United Way to continue having a positive impact on the community.

“We could not do the work we do without the support from all the numerous volunteers that have come together to make United Way successful,” Rhodes said. “It is an honor to partner with such dedicated and committed people who help change lives in our community every day.”

The appreciation breakfast also highlighted the seventh annual United Way Mooresville-Lake Norman Days of Caring held September 22-25, 2018. More than 175 volunteers served at a dozen project sites, lending a hand to schools and nonprofits across Mooresville-Lake Norman.
