Capacity Building for a Stronger Community

Through the United Way Learning Network, we’re excited to offer a series of workshops and training events to help volunteers, grassroots nonprofits and community members learn essential skills to maximize their impact.

Teaching and Learning with United Way

Recently, we organized trainings for nonprofit agency staff and board members on building trauma-informed organizations, advancing a racial equity organizational lens, and developing two-generation interventions and partnerships. Initial information sessions on these topics were followed by optional in-depth workshops for agencies looking to put these ideas into action.
