Young Leaders

uwyl words

Young Leaders is a group of young professionals, age 30 to 45, in the Charlotte region who are devoted to meaningful, sustained community service and civic engagement.

The group’s mission is to inspire young professionals to improve communities through collaborative action by engaging in philanthropic, volunteer, and leadership activities throughout the community.

Member experiences include group volunteering opportunities, members-only board training sessions, and signature events such as our annual Week to Fight Hunger.

You have something unique to offer, so join a group of peers who - like you - want to create lasting change in people's lives and across the community.

Young Leaders membership is a benefit limited to United Way donors who contribute $500 more annually. If you are already giving at this level and wish to confirm your YL membership, or if you are considering joining and would like to learn more, please contact Jonathan Russell at This email address is being protected from spambots.
